Senior Frontend Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $228,000 – $279,200 annually Responsibilities Collaborate with Product and Design to develop user experiences using modern frontend technologies Own and enhance the frontend architecture for scalability and performance Lead design and development of frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js Establish frontend engineering standards, including tooling and testing strategies Drive cross-team initiatives to align frontend architecture with product strategy Identify technical risks and provide clear direction and analysis Mentor frontend engineers to improve code quality and practices Design unit, integration, and UI automation tests for reliability Monitor frontend performance metrics to guide technical decisions Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Expertise in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js Strong background in frontend architecture and performance optimization Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 4+ years in frontend or web platform development Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus Benefits Remote work option with potential for a hybrid arrangement Equity participation in the company Access to corporate benefits package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
