Principal Product Engineer - Frontend UX

Our client is a fin-tech start-up that partners with small and medium sized businesses to provide financial intelligence and business advisory services. The team is seeking a Principal level product engineer to play a pivotal role in building and growing their platform. Job Title: Principal Product Engineer Job Type: Full-time Location: New York City preferred. Open to fully remote for right candidate. Must be in US and eligible to work for any US employer. No sponsorship can be provided at this time. Required Technology And Skills 10+ years of professional experience, with a blend of expertise in consumer product management and frontend engineeringExpertise in Direct-to-consumer / B2C product development; customer acquisition, funnel optimization, growth, retention / adoption, and improving UXStrong ability to own product roadmap, validate ideas, and ship high-impact growth initiativesHands-on experience with Frontend engineering: React, Typescript, JavascriptDemonstrated experience working in a start-up and successfully scaling a product and delivering tangible business outcomesExperience shaping frontend architecture and UX best practicesStrong AB testing skills and demonstrated experience leading/driving experimentation Additional Skills Degree in Computer Science or STEM related fieldConsumer Fin-tech experienceStart-up experienceExpertise in DTC / B2C productsExperience at Lead/Principal/Staff level within product & engineering Compensation: $200,000 - $240,000 base salary (Based on experience), + significant equity If you are interested, please apply directly for immediate consideration or reach out to Andrew Zaloom at azaloom@talener.com.
