Meet the Quality Engineering team You'll join the Quality Engineering function within our Accounting group, focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of CORTO's accounting products for legal professionals. This team supports established accounting functionality used by the wider user base, alongside ongoing product improvements and new feature delivery. The environment is fast-moving and product-heavy, with established products continuing to evolve as new features and improvements are delivered. You'll work across evolving platforms, helping improve test coverage, quality practices and release confidence as the product portfolio grows. What you'll do As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll play a hands‑on role in driving test automation forward across CORTO's customer facing accounting products. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, DevOps and other QEs to ensure quality is built in early, releases are reliable, and automation keeps pace as new products and features are shipped. To make this happen you will: Support the QE Lead with day-to-day quality deliveryDesign, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks across web applications, APIs, and other supported platformsContribute to developing QE team members through workshops, training, and paired programming sessionsPerform code reviews to ensure alignment with established test frameworks and standardsExecute regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory test cyclesWork closely with developers and DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and quality gatesIdentify quality risks, investigate failures, and raise clear, actionable defects What you'll bring: Strong hands-on experience with automated testing across web applications, APIs, and/or other supported platformsProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or PythonExperience designing or building test frameworks from scratchConfidence working with modern CI/CD workflows and version controlExperience testing backend systems, APIs, and data-heavy applicationsAbility to work effectively in fast-changing, loosely structured environmentsA proactive, ownership-driven approach to quality Even better if you have; Experience testing AI‑enabled or AI‑driven systems Exposure to non‑functional testing (performance, load, reliability) Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) Experience contributing to or uplifting junior QE teams You are the type of person who Takes initiative and thrives in ambiguous, evolving environments Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Cares deeply about product quality and team collaboration Enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment Is a self-motivated learner that enjoys continuous improvement CORTO is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
