Description

Vice President of Engineering | Space / Launch | Canada | Relocation Available InnoForge is partnering with an ambitious space launch company in Canada to appoint a Vice President of Engineering as the organisation enters a major phase of technical and organisational growth. This is an opportunity to take a senior leadership position in a company building complex flight hardware from the ground up, working directly alongside the CTO to scale the engineering organisation and take technology from development through qualification, production and ultimately flight. You'll play a central role in shaping how the engineering organisation is built, bringing together multidisciplinary teams across areas including propulsion, mechanical, avionics, systems and vehicle engineering. We're particularly interested in leaders with experience across: Launch vehicles, spacecraft, rockets or similarly complex aerospace systemsPropulsion, mechanical, vehicle or systems engineeringLeading and scaling multidisciplinary engineering organisationsHardware development from early design through qualification, manufacturing and flightBuilding engineering processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy You don't necessarily need to already be a VP. We're keen to speak with VPs, Engineering Directors, Heads of Engineering, Chief Engineers and exceptional senior technical leaders who have the technical credibility and leadership ability to step into a broader role. Based outside Canada? That's absolutely fine. The search is international and relocation support is available. We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced space and launch engineers across the US, UK, Europe and wider global space sector who would consider relocating to Canada for the right opportunity. If you've helped build, launch or scale complex aerospace hardware and want the opportunity to have a significant influence on both the vehicle and the engineering organisation behind it, we'd be interested in speaking.
