DevOps Engineer | AWS | Terraform Our Client is a growing Australian technology company building operational software for the mining, engineering and heavy industry sectors. They're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to take ownership of cloud infrastructure, automation, security and reliability. 💰 Salary: $120K-$140k base + super 📍 Location: Melbourne preferred | Remote anywhere in Australia 🏢 Working: 3 days/week at 696 Bourke St, Melbourne, or fully remote 💼 Employment: Permanent, full-time ⚡ Start: ASAP What you'll be doing Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructureBuild and maintain infrastructure using TerraformDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelinesIdentify opportunities to optimise AWS costsStrengthen cloud security and support ISO 27001 initiativesManage containerised workloads using Docker and AWS ECSOwn monitoring, alerting and incident responseAutomate repetitive processes and improve developer workflowsWork closely with Engineering, Product and Delivery teamsSupport the development team with day-to-day infrastructure requirements What we're looking for Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environmentsProven Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experienceA proactive approach to cloud cost optimisation and securityExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesStrong scripting skills — Python, Bash or similarExperience with Docker and ECSSomeone who takes ownership and proactively solves problemsA positive, collaborative approach to working within a small team Nice to have Infrastructure/application monitoring and logging experienceExposure to Ruby on RailsExperience supporting enterprise customersExperience working within a distributed engineering team The team You'll be joining a technology team of: 7 Engineers1 Engineering Manager1 Product Manager1 Tech Support1 Product Delivery Lead The role reports to the Engineering Manager, with a secondary reporting line to the Product Delivery Lead.
