Your future duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Python Developer to support and improve IT Service Management processes through automation, engineering, and modern cloud technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys streamlining operational workflows, reducing manual effort, and building reliable solutions that improve the efficiency and consistency of IT service delivery. The Developer will work closely with operations, infrastructure, application, and service management teams to automate processes and procedures, enhance ITSM functions, and support enterprise applications and platforms. Design, develop, and implement solutions that support IT Service Management (ITSM) functions and operational processes.Automate manual processes, procedures, and recurring service management activities to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.Develop automation using Python, APIs, scripting, and CI/CD tools.Support and enhance workflows within ServiceNow and related ITSM processes.Build and maintain solutions in AWS, applying cloud engineering and operational best practices.Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise and infrastructure-as-code practices.Support containerized applications and modern deployment environments.Use Splunk Enterprise to monitor systems, analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational visibility.Support applications and integrations using Oracle Database.Maintain and improve automated deployment and release processes through CI/CD pipelines.Use Jira Software and Confluence to manage work, document procedures, and maintain technical knowledge.Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to improve development, documentation, troubleshooting, and automation.Collaborate with technical and service management teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and continuous automation. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $56,600 to $110,100.
