Senior Salesforce Security Engineer

Title: Senior Salesforce Security Engineer Location: Brampton, Ontario (Hybrid) Positions: 1 Work Mode: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days onsite per week) Employment Type: Contract (12 Months + Extension Options) Overview We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Security Engineer to support enterprise Salesforce initiatives by providing security leadership, governance, architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening Salesforce security controls, establishing governance frameworks, conducting security assessments, and driving remediation efforts across a complex enterprise environment. Responsibilities Lead Salesforce security architecture, governance, and compliance initiatives.Conduct Salesforce security posture assessments and identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and remediation strategies.Enhance and maintain Salesforce security standards following Secure by Design principles.Review and optimize Profiles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Roles, Sharing Rules, OWDs, Field-Level Security, MFA, Login Policies, and Session Controls.Assess integration security and implement ongoing monitoring and auditing processes.Enforce secure coding standards for Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).Evaluate SDLC practices, including vendor-developed code, and recommend improvements.Support compliance, audit, and cybersecurity requirements.Provide guidance, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to internal teams and platform administrators.Qualifications Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.5+ years of hands-on Salesforce architecture experience with end-to-end delivery responsibility.Experience delivering multiple enterprise Salesforce implementations involving complex integrations and business processes.Strong experience implementing Salesforce security models, controls, and governance frameworks.Experience with Salesforce Shield, DevOps practices, vulnerability management, and security assessments.Expertise in Salesforce Identity and Access Management, including OAuth and SAML.Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, static code analysis, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).Technical Expertise Salesforce Security ArchitectureSalesforce ShieldIdentity & Access Management (OAuth, SAML)Security Compliance & AuditsVulnerability ManagementSecure SDLC & DevSecOpsApex & LWC SecurityAPI & Integration SecurityAccess Control & GovernanceNice-to-Have Certifications SDLC Foundation Certification (or higher)Salesforce Certified Application ArchitectSalesforce Certified Integration Architecture DesignerPreferred Competencies Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience working in large enterprise environmentsAbility to lead security initiatives and provide technical mentorshipIf you are interested, please apply with your updated resume and relevant Salesforce certifications.
