Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Risk IT technology team.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting high-performance applications and data-processing solutions using Java and Apache Spark.
The role requires strong technical expertise in Java, distributed systems, Spark, and backend development, along with a good understanding of financial risk technology.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable applications using Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, and Spring Boot.Develop large-scale data processing applications using Apache Spark.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Work with large datasets and optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Risk teams, QA, DevOps, and other technology teams.Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and production releases.
Mandatory Skills
7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.Strong SQL MS SQL Server and database development skills.Experience with Microservices architecture.Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
