DevOps Platform Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Devops Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $139,475 – $153,900 annually Responsibilities Implement reusable engineering standards and practices for data delivery Maintain code quality and consistency across projects Enhance CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment Oversee release management and deployment planning activities Establish observability and alerting for production data pipelines Support production incidents with analysis and corrective actions Ensure environment management consistency across stages Improve developer experience through automation and streamlined processes Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline related to Data Engineering or DevOps Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and analytics workloads Strong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, dbt, GitLab, and CI/CD processes Experience with automated testing and code quality measures Proficient in deployment coordination and change management practices Familiar with observability and incident response for production systems Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues independently Benefits Comprehensive medical coverage Retirement savings options Wellness programs and resources Generous paid time off Employee discounts Support for professional development and growth opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
