Role: Senior Salesforce Developer Location: Hybrid - Trenton, NJ Role Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months with the possibility of extending Job Description:- We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to build scalable Apex, LWC, Flows, and REST/SOAP integrations with Copado CI/CD release management. What You’ll Do Under the direction of a supervisor, this position is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Salesforce and integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systemsThe candidate will work with program offices, gather and evaluate business requirements, build declarative and custom programmatic solutions, and ensure that systems meet technical specifications, performance standards, and security mandates What You'll Need Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field7+ years of experience in full lifecycle application development (analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment) with primary focus on Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and enterprise systems integrationStrong hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Sharing Rules, Security/Permission Sets) Advanced programmatic development experience using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch/Queueable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL, and SOSLStrong experience designing and consuming Salesforce Web Services (REST, SOAP), Bulk API, and Metadata API for system integrationsHands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and release management using Copado and Git-based version controlAbility to translate functional business requirements into technical design specifications and architectural optionsExperience defining system landscapes, identifying technical gaps, and implementing end-to-end solutionsAbility to build and execute automated unit tests with high code coverage, supporting QA and regression testing cyclesStrong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholdersProven experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer (PD1/PD2) or Administrator Certifications
