As a Senior Backend Engineer - Java, you'll deliver new features, improve performance and reliability, reduce technical debt, and help shape backend standards and long-term strategy. This role is fully remote from anywhere in the United States, with east coast business hours. Description The suitable Senior Backend Engineer - Java will have the following responsibilities: Be the internal Backend architecture expert, driving standards. Improve the quality of internal software by reshaping legacy areas. Own reliability and performance by identifying bugs & issues and improving the company UX with attainable outcomes Mentor junior engineers, leading by example and sharing best practice.Work with a variety of teams across the organization, mainly product & design to ensure requirements are clear and executed successfully Be a great communicator and collaborator, working with team members on code reviews and shared problem solving.
