🚀 We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering and cloud experience to join a high-impact engineering initiative focused on automation, cloud-native infrastructure, scalable platforms, and reliable software delivery. Our client is a technology company building and operating modern cloud-based applications and distributed platforms. As the engineering organization continues to scale, the team is investing heavily in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, containerization, observability, and developer productivity. The team is now looking for a senior engineer who can serve as a technical bridge between software development and infrastructure, combining strong coding capabilities with hands-on DevOps and cloud expertise. 🔥 What You'll Work On You'll be designing, automating, and operating the platforms and engineering systems that enable teams to build and deliver software reliably at scale. Your work may involve: Designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCPDeveloping automation, internal tools, scripts, and services using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languagesBuilding and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release managementImplementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related technologiesBuilding and operating containerized workloads using Docker and KubernetesAutomating infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, environment configuration, and operational workflowsDeveloping APIs, automation services, and developer tooling that improve engineering productivityImplementing observability solutions across applications and infrastructure, including logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and alertingApplying DevSecOps and cloud security practices across infrastructure, applications, and delivery pipelinesTroubleshooting production issues and improving system reliability, performance, scalability, and availabilityIntegrating automated testing, quality gates, security scanning, and deployment validation into CI/CD workflowsWorking closely with Software Engineering, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teamsDocumenting infrastructure, deployment processes, operational procedures, and technical decisions 🎯 What We're Looking For We're looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer with a strong coding background, not someone focused exclusively on infrastructure administration. You should have: Strong professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering4+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure, automation, and software deliveryStrong programming experience with Python, Go, Bash, or another modern programming languageStrong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPStrong experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code using TerraformSolid understanding of Linux, networking, security, and distributed systemsExperience working with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applicationsStrong understanding of Git-based development workflowsExperience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production observabilityStrong troubleshooting and production incident resolution experienceStrong software engineering fundamentals around testing, maintainability, automation, scalability, and reliabilityStrong architectural judgment and problem-solving skillsExcellent English communication and collaboration skills ⭐ Nice to Have Experience with any of the following would be highly valuable: AWS, Azure, and GCP experienceGitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOpsPrometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar observability platformsAWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, or equivalent cloud servicesTerraform, Ansible, Helm, or PackerKubernetes operators, service meshes, or cloud-native networkingKafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, or other messaging platformsCloud security, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOpsServerless and event-driven architecturesExperience designing highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systemsSRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident managementPrevious experience with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or other programming languages 💡 Why This Role?
