Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!. Job Description Developing software for clients using Kotlin and Java on the AWS Cloud platform, following best practice. In addition to Kotlin, this project utilises Typescript/Node.js using the GOV.UK Design System. Kubernetes and Docker to schedule and run services hosted on AWS Cloud. You'll join a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills working in a modern Agile environment. Contributing to real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customers and participating in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professionals. Learning, developing your skills, and becoming a rounded Developer in the process. This is a government project, and you must undergo Security Clearance if successful. Qualifications Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architecturesNFR / Non-Functional requirement understanding and experience developing applications with this in mindApplication / Digital Services Design experienceExperience in software engineering practices like Code Reviews, CI/CD Pipelines and SOLID/DRY principals Hands-on developing / coding role using the following technologies:Frontend (TypeScript, Node, Express JS)Backend (Kotlin, SpringBoot, Hibernate)Experience in estimation and sizing Integration experienceAPI Design experienceCloud experienceAppetite to work with emerging AI technologiesSC Eligible Additional Information Why Version 1?  At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their wellbeing, professional growth, and financial stability.
