emergiTEL is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for our client in the travel technology industry. This is a permanent opportunity. Please apply if have any experience with Travel industry only. 💰 Compensation: $124,000–$155,000/year (QC) or $140,000–$178,000/year (ON) 📍 Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) or Toronto, ON (50% in-office) 💻 Job Description – English Lead the architecture, design, and development of full-stack solutions across the core platform.Act as a technical leader by mentoring junior and intermediate developers through code reviews and technical guidance.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and delivery plans.Drive best practices in code quality, testing, performance, and security.Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from discovery through production deployment.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance platform capabilities.Integrate third-party APIs, travel distribution systems, and external services.Contribute to sprint planning, technical roadmaps, and architectural reviews.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, cloud-native delivery. 🎯 Requirements 8+ years of full-stack development experience.Strong expertise in front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, along with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.Solid back-end experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design.Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong communication and leadership skills.Experience with Glue and Spark.Experience in travel technology or airline systems is considered an asset.Background in finance, including payments and reconciliation, or data is considered an asset.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 📌 Vacancy Status / Statut du poste This is an active position currently open for hiring. / Ce poste est activement ouvert au recrutement. 🤖 Use of Artificial Intelligence / Utilisation de l'intelligence artificielle No artificial intelligence (AI) is used in the screening or selection process.
