The Role
Develop and maintain CI/CD build chains for simulation software.
Continuously optimize proprietary monitoring tools for simulation facilities.
Drive the introduction and development of virtualization and automation solutions.
Ensure smooth operation, availability, and continuous development of internal IT systems and tools.
Define system requirements, develop architectures and designs, and ensure platform scalability and stability.
Lead a team of 7-9 employees, including mentoring and performance management.
What You'll Need
Successfully completed scientific degree or comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, virtualization, and IT system/server administration.
Expertise in automating computer installations, configurations, software deployment, and system monitoring.
Profound knowledge in the DevOps environment and experience in designing and optimizing processes.
Ability to define and implement technical architecture standards; ideally experienced in system and software architecture for complex IT or simulation systems.
Proficient with GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, Jenkins, Hyper-V, VMware, Windows, and Linux systems.
Knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Grafana.
Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
