Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in web development and API engineering.
The ideal candidate will build scalable, secure, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions.
You will collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
This role covers software design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Design, build, document, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs.
Integrate third-party services, external platforms, payment systems, and business applications.
Create reusable backend services, modular components, and efficient application workflows.
Implement API authentication using OAuth, JWT, API keys, or similar technologies.
Define API schemas, request validation, response formats, versioning, and error handling.
Develop background jobs and asynchronous workflows using Celery, asyncio, or equivalent tools.
Write clean, efficient, secure, testable, and maintainable Python code.
Create automated tests using pytest, unittest, and API testing frameworks.
Perform code reviews and promote strong software engineering standards.
Investigate defects, troubleshoot production issues, and implement long-term solutions.
Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and response times.
Document technical designs, API specifications, system processes, and deployment procedures.
Technical Requirements
Strong professional experience with Python and backend software development.
Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or comparable web frameworks.
Strong understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, XML, and web communication standards.
Experience designing secure, versioned, documented, and backward-compatible APIs.
Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, query optimization, and migrations.
Experience using Django ORM, SQLAlchemy, or other object-relational mapping tools.
Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB, or other NoSQL database technologies.
Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development.
Knowledge of Docker, containerized applications, and Linux-based environments.
Understanding of CI/CD, automated deployments, and continuous integration pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, encryption, access control, and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with OpenAPI, Swagger, API gateways, rate limiting, and monitoring.
Understanding of OWASP security principles and common web vulnerabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, serverless systems, or distributed architectures.
Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Kafka, event-driven systems, or message-based communication.
Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, real-time systems, or asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with Terraform, infrastructure as code, logging, and observability platforms.
