Software Development Specialist

Title DGSun Engineer Location - Orlando FL(Preferred). Remote is also fine. But look for FL profiles. Required 1. 10+ years recent development experience specifically with the Basis International languages of Progression/5 (BBx, Pro/5) and Business Basic for Java (BBj) A. Recent: They are actively developing in these technologies and have been for 10+ years B. Development experience means 80% of time actively adding new features / capabilities vs break fix or small enhancements from production support issues C. Current usage of BBj is to support integrations not graphical user interfaces 2. Experience with Integrations in/out a Pro/5 system (ie: http, XML, RPC) 3. Demonstrated experience with learning a custom code base they didn’t develop 4. Experience developing based on specifications developed by others and working in a formal SDLC environment 5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and creating SQL queries to assist with troubleshooting Optional/Plus 1. (Plus) Experience in Hospitality / Vacation Ownership industry 2. (Plus) Development experience with both Progression/5 and BBj enabling system-to-system integrations. 3. (Plus) Unix/Linux shell scripting experience 4. (Optional) Experience with other Business Basic variants such as Thoroughbred BASIC, ProvideX (now PxPlus), MAI OpenBasic. 5. (Optional) Experience using external logging platforms for troubleshooting - Splunk / Dynatrace
