About The Role We are seeking an experienced Node Js Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Maintec Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development, with proficiency in modern web technologies such as ReactJs and VueJs, and a solid understanding of database systems including SQL and NoSQL. The position is based in Mountain View, CA, with a hybrid work model to promote flexibility and work-life balance. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution. They should have over 7 years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer (SDE), with significant expertise in backend development. Proficiency in Node.js is mandatory, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and familiarity with web frameworks such as Express, Sails, or Hapi. Experience with ReactJs and VueJs, including Redux, is required, along with strong knowledge of web technologies like microservices, load balancing, and API development. Candidates must have a solid understanding of JSON standards and experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, or similar, is essential. Knowledge of backend technologies like Java and containerization tools is a plus. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills, with a good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts. Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor or lead small teams are highly desirable.
