Oracle APEX Developer
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy robust web applications using Oracle APEX (v21.x+), leveraging Universal Theme and responsive components.Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, database triggers, and views.Build and consume RESTful Web Services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to integrate APEX applications with external software and Oracle ERP modules, including Purchasing, Payables, and Inventory.Enhance standard APEX interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX to deliver clean, intuitive user experiences.Diagnose slow-running pages and queries, perform execution plan analysis, and optimize database objects for high-concurrency environments.Implement role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security, session management, and application security measures against vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS.Required Qualifications
4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience developing enterprise software using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database (19c/21c+), with integration experience involving Oracle Apps R12.Expert-level knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and database object modeling.Deep proficiency in ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) configuration and REST API integration.Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex functional requirements into efficient database schemas and intuitive UI flows.Preferred Qualifications
