The Role We are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer to join our Moranbah Operations team. Reporting to the Lead Static Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the static equipment function across site through the development of maintenance and reliability strategies, asset integrity management and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams, you will provide technical expertise to improve equipment performance, reduce reliability risks and support safe, efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Include Developing and optimising maintenance and inspection strategies for static equipment assetsSupporting asset integrity programs and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and statutory requirementsLeading equipment failure investigations and implementing reliability improvement initiativesConducting risk assessments, inspections and engineering studies to improve equipment performanceSupporting turnaround planning, scope development and execution activitiesCollaborating with site teams to identify, evaluate and implement improvement projects What You'll Bring You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance cultureTertiary qualification in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent industry experienceExperience working within a Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas processing industry or heavy industrial environment (Desirable)Exposure to Ammonia plant or Nitric Acid/Ammonium Nitrate plant is Highly preferredExperience in pressure equipment reliability, asset integrity and inspection programsKnowledge of failure mechanisms, materials, welding processes and engineering standards relating to static equipmentExperience with reliability-centred maintenance, risk-based maintenance and root cause analysis methodologiesRPEQ, CPEng, NPER, AICIP or API qualifications will be highly regarded If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100% we still want to hear from you.
