Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer

Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer to lead the development of enterprise-grade Shopify solutions while serving as a senior technical contributor across both internal products and client implementations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring other developers in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment. Lead the end-to-end development of Shopify-based products, including custom applications, storefront extensions, and internal toolsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Shopify solutions using Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Shopify APIsDrive technical architecture decisions focused on scalability, performance, maintainability, and securityDesign and implement integrations between Shopify and ERP, POS, payment, and third-party platformsEstablish engineering best practices for version control, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, testing, and documentationParticipate in client discovery sessions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsProvide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developersCollaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, solution architects, designers, and business stakeholdersMaintain technical documentation, reusable development patterns, and architectural standards Qualifications: Required: 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience with deep Shopify expertiseProven experience building custom Shopify apps and advanced storefront customizationsStrong experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Liquid, React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScriptExperience designing scalable architectures for enterprise or high-growth Shopify merchantsStrong understanding of modern software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version controlExcellent communication skills with the ability to participate in client-facing technical discussionsAbility to work independently while leading technical initiatives in a remote environmentPreferred: Experience with Shopify POS, ERP integrations, or unified commerce solutionsPrevious consulting or digital agency experienceExperience supporting multi-store, multi-region, or high-volume Shopify environmentsFamiliarity with Salesforce Commerce or broader eCommerce ecosystems is an asset Why Join Them?
