Description
Reporting to the Head of Sales - South Asia, the Associate Market Development Manager will be part of the Global Sales Team and will play a major role in enhancing awareness and generating sales in our vertical market – Pro Audio through sales-based analysis and gathered market insights.
This position is based in Mumbai.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and prioritize market leads and opportunities to reach potential new customersDevelop and provide product presentations and demonstrations for various stakeholders that include but are not limited to end users, consultants, integrators - to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure’s product categories Schedule, coordinate, and conduct training sessions to educate Distribution Partners on product benefits and sales techniques, as well as monitor and report on effectiveness of education/training efforts within the South Asia market.Work with Marketing on technical and logistical support for conferences, seminars, and other special eventsProvide support and input to Product Marketing and Product Planning on Shure’s product lines – including forecasts and pipeline informationMonitor competitive activity - from a product and market development standpoint - and reports on items of interest to Shure50% travel annually – including some weekends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7 years of work experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive technical knowledge of professional audio/RF principles and productsThorough understanding of industry practices, workflow and terminology.
Background or experience with Sound and RF within Live, Theatre or Broadcast environmentsDemonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to create solutions for difficult assignments of diverse scopeAble to handle multiple assignments and to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors and adapt as neededExcellent communication and presentation skills as well as proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Experience with mixing live audio or coordinating RF wireless systems are a plusDetail oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills, and able to work independently reporting to a remotely located ManagerFluent in spoken and written English and Native language skills appropriate to the region.
