We are seeking a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to drive, elevate, and modernize our continuous integration and delivery ecosystem.
In this role, you will take full ownership of automated CI/CD pipelines, lead code repository and workflow migrations to GitHub, and champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards across enterprise environments.
You will play a pivotal role in accelerating developer velocity, hardening delivery pipelines, and establishing best-in-class DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing CircleCI and GitHub Actions to automate testing, build, and release workflows.Platform Migrations: Lead complex repository, pipeline, and toolchain migrations to GitHub, streamlining developer workflows and modernizing legacy delivery mechanisms.Infrastructure as Code: Standardize, module-drive, and manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise (TFE) across cloud and enterprise environments.Developer Enablement: Build reusable pipeline templates, shared actions, and self-service deployment tools to eliminate friction for engineering teams.Pipeline Security & Governance: Enforce security guardrails within delivery pipelines (e.g., SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, secret management) and manage policy-as-code via Terraform Enterprise.Reliability & Monitoring: Continuously monitor build/deployment health, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize build performance and execution time.Collaboration: Partner closely with software engineering, cloud platform, and security teams to drive GitOps and DevOps best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Release Engineering role supporting enterprise software teams.CI/CD Mastery: Proven track record building production-grade automation pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub Actions.Migration Expertise: Demonstrated experience planning and executing repository and pipeline migrations to GitHub (including enterprise migration tools and workflows).IaC & Enterprise Tooling: Deep hands-on experience using Terraform and managing policy, workspaces, and state in Terraform Enterprise.Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go, or similar) for automation tasks and custom tooling.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
Skills & Competencies
DevOps Ecosystem: Advanced knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub Enterprise), build tools, artifact repositories, and GitOps methodologies.IaC Practices: Expert understanding of Terraform module design, state management, sentinel policies, and workspace organization in Terraform Enterprise.Containerization: Solid grasp of Docker and container build automation within CI/CD pipelines.Security & Compliance: Familiarity with secret management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault), identity federation (OIDC for GitHub/CircleCI), and supply chain security best practices.Problem Solving & Collaboration: Exceptional analytical and debugging skills paired with strong communication and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
