Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company that sells a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform. We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting. We are in immediate need of a Mulesoft Developer to join our Product Development Team. We are looking for a Mulesoft Developer to work as part of an agile product development team, interacting with SME’s, the QA team, the Development team, and the Release Manager. You need to be a charismatic, engaging team player able to handle multiple priorities. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Create prototypes for new solutions based on business requirements and user feedbackCommunicate project status to other team members, including managers and stakeholdersReview existing code and making improvements or suggest new solutions to problemsDevelop new features or functionality for an application based on specifications provided by the client or companyTest applications after development is complete to ensure they function as intendedCreate and maintain documentation of software development processes and procedures for future projectsReview project scope and create estimates of costs and time required to complete projectsMaintain current knowledge of emerging technologies that may impact your field, such as artificial intelligence (AI) or big data analyticsCommunicate with clients to clarify requirements and gather feedback on progressSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information technology, software engineering or related fieldExperience with data integrations on the Salesforce platformMulesoft Certified Developer – Level 1 and Level 2 is a plusA minimum of 3 years experience as a product owner in an agile environment.Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skillsThe ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Ability to translate complex business processes into specific requirements for a software development team to build test plans and code from.Excellent documentation skills providing exact details in a concise, logical, unambiguous format and language.A track record of following through on commitmentsExcellent planning, organizational and time management skills.Accounting Seed is an equal opportunity employer.
