This role is pivotal in delivering Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to our customers, a key technology that ensures our vehicles remain cutting-edge, connected, and continuously improving. Over-The-Air updates are a cornerstone of Mercedes-Benz’s digital strategy, enabling us to deliver convenience, safety, and excitement to our customers. As an OTA Software Update Campaign Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles stay at the forefront of automotive technology. Your Role & ResponsibilitiesAs the OTA Software Update Campaign Manager, you will: Manage OTA Rollout Campaigns: Lead the end-to-end rollout process, ensuring updates are delivered successfully and on time in alignment with Mercedes-Benz internal processes. Drive Process Improvement: Continuously improve the OTA rollout process using your own innovative ideas, lessons learned, and feedback from teams and stakeholders. Collaborate Across Teams: Act as the main interface between program teams, after-sales, function design, quality, and global headquarters. Lead cross-functional activities for multiple ECUs (Electronic Control Units). Ensure Quality & Timely Delivery: Control risks, track delivery timing, analyze data, and resolve issues to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software that adds exciting new features for customers. Produce Regular Reports: Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders and management teams on OTA campaign progress and performance. Regulatory Compliance: Manage compliance certification and filing activities related to OTA regulations. Support Related Teams: Collaborate with vehicle testing, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of OTA updates. QualifikationenTo thrive in this role, you should: Have a strong background in software project management, ideally in automotive or technology sectors. Have knowledge of vehicle technology and architecture. Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Be skilled in risk management and data analysis, with attention to detail. Demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership abilities to manage diverse stakeholders. Have a passion for innovation and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement. Fluent in English and Chinese for clear and efficient communication with other teams in China and worldwide.
