Senior AI Application Engineer A leading global automotive manufacturer known for innovation in premium mobility is looking for an experienced engineer to join the infotainment and intelligent personal assistant team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between advanced machine learning models and real-world product experiences, focusing on integrating intelligent features directly into next-generation vehicle systems. What you'll be doing • Integrate machine learning models to run efficiently on edge devices within the infotainment domain. • Prototype and build new generative AI experiences, turning conceptual ideas into refined customer-facing features. • Collaborate with model engineering teams to manage latency, memory, and performance budgets for edge and cloud environments. • Develop evaluation tools to measure real-world interaction quality, system robustness, and failure modes. • Partner with UX teams to refine design flows, fallback mechanisms, and safe error handling for intelligent systems. What we're looking for • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of five years of proven experience in application engineering with a track record of delivering to a large customer base. • Strong technical background integrating generative AI and machine learning models into functional applications. • Proficiency in Python and Java or Kotlin. • Experience debugging complex AI failures and optimizing model behavior on constrained offline edge devices.
