Support the operation and improvement of production systems, helping investigate defects, resolve issues, reduce technical debt and improve observability, resilience and user experience.
Contribute to engineering practices across CI/CD, automated testing, documentation, secure development, cloud services and operational readiness.
Contribute to engineering leadership within the team by role-modelling effective use of modern tools, supporting peers to adopt high-quality practices and helping the team increase delivery pace without compromising security, reliability or customer experience.
Collaborate with colleagues across global product and engineering teams, sharing knowledge, learning from others and contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience developing software in a commercial SaaS, software product, cloud-based technology or similar engineering environment.
Strong programming skills and experience building maintainable, testable and scalable software using modern engineering practices.
Good understanding of SaaS product development, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD and system reliability principles.
Understanding of AI-first software development principles, including responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools, automation, code quality practices and modern engineering workflows to improve productivity and product outcomes.
Experience working in Agile teams, including participating in planning, estimation, refinement, reviews, retrospectives and iterative delivery.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, QA, DevOps and other engineering colleagues to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Ability to influence and support team adoption of modern engineering tools and practices that increase quality, velocity and the release of features that improve the customer experience.
