Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design and develop a high-performance desktop and mobile application using .NET MAUI and Blazor to support field experts during their inspections. • Translate complex technical inspection processes into scalable, custom software solutions and make sustainable architectural decisions. • Utilize Microsoft Azure for deployment and web API integration, actively participate in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and integrate modern AI tools into workflows and products. • Provide realistic effort estimations, plan automated testing, and ensure long-term operational stability through clear documentation. • Support complex technical inquiries (3rd-level support) and contribute to the continuous modernization of the tech stack. What You'll Need • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in object-oriented software development. • Proven, in-depth knowledge of C# / .NET and extensive experience in cross-platform development with .NET MAUI and Blazor. • Solid understanding of developing and integrating web APIs (REST) and experience with Microsoft Azure. • Experience with database systems (MS SQL, Entity Framework) and the .NET Framework. • Experience in agile software projects, a strong quality mindset, and a structured, self-directed work approach. • Good knowledge of CSS/HTML and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) are advantageous. • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
