Senior Platform Engineer

Project information: Hybrid model (3 days per week in office) On calls duties Introduction & Summary: As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the platform and refining operational practices. Your expertise will guide the transition from traditional operational models to a more automated environment that enhances developer capabilities. Main Responsibilities: You will oversee core operations and contribute to platform advancements: Manage operations using Red Hat OpenShift.Implement GitOps, CI/CD, and platform automation solutions.Collaborate with development teams to refine platform requirements and enhancements.Ensure high operational reliability and predictable operations.Provide knowledge sharing and act as a technical consultant within the team. Key Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in platform engineering with Red Hat OpenShift.Strong understanding of GitOps and CI/CD practices.Automation understandingExcellent problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills in English.Ability to work during operational hours and after hours as needed. Nice to Have: Experience in developer enablement.Familiarity with other cloud platforms eg. Microsoft Azure
