About The Role
Motional is seeking a highly skilled Staff Front End Engineer to join its Web Visualization Tooling team.
This critical role involves leading the development of advanced web tooling and visualization systems that enhance feedback loops for machine learning engineers and improve the performance and adaptability of autonomous vehicle systems.
The successful candidate will drive the establishment of web development standards, architect scalable frontend ecosystems using React, TypeScript, and Vue, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including ML, UX, data services, and data annotation.
The role demands a proactive approach to designing mission-critical UI systems for internal stakeholders, optimizing performance, and ensuring maintainability.
The engineer will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, product-driven environment, shipping features rapidly while iterating based on user feedback.
Flexibility in work arrangements includes a hybrid schedule with in-office days at Boston, Pittsburgh, or Las Vegas or the option for full remote work.
Qualifications
