Department Overview The Exacom Logging Recorder team is responsible for Motorola Solutions’ cloud-native logging platforms, real-time voice and radio recording engines, and AI-assisted analytics software leveraged in public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure applications worldwide. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Back End Software Engineer to design and develop scalable, high-performance services that power our enterprise multimedia solutions. The ideal candidate has experience building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native services with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities Design and develop distributed backend services using C# and .NETBuild secure, scalable REST APIsDesign data models and optimize database performanceIntegrate with third-party APIs and enterprise systemsDevelop cloud-native services and infrastructureParticipate in architectural design and technical planningWrite unit and integration tests to ensure software qualityParticipate in code reviews and mentor junior engineersTroubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions Basic Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent experience consideredStrong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core/.NET)Experience designing distributed, highly available systemsExperience developing RESTful APIsFamiliarity with relational and NoSQL databasesExperience with Git workflows and Agile developmentStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills Preferred Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Experience building CI/CD pipelinesExperience with multimedia processing, VoIP, SIP, RoIP, or audio/video systems In Return For Your Expertise, We’ll Support You In This New Challenge With Coaching & Development Every Step Of The Way.
