Description

Python Full-Stack Software Engineer | Austin, TX Important: This role is not open to visa sponsorship or candidates requiring visas. US citizens and Green Card holders are eligible. Build the Software Behind Autonomous Factories. What if you could build the software that makes a CNC factory run itself? A venture-backed early-stage company is building EvenOS — the operating system for autonomous precision manufacturing. The founding engineering team is looking for a high-agency Python Full-Stack Engineer (2–7 years) to build critical systems from the ground up. What they’re looking for: • Strong Python + Django • 2–7 years of full-stack engineering • CS degree from a top-30 program • Strong ML / model fine-tuning experience • Experience with CAD/CAM, robotics or computational geometry • Track record of shipping at high-intensity companies or VC-backed startups • Industrial, factory, ERP or hardware-adjacent experience is a plus You’ll work across: ⚙️ Factory ERP & inventory 🤖 CNC machine monitoring & robotics 📐 CAD/CAM & computational geometry 🔍 Quality systems with micron-level accuracy 🧠 ML & computer vision ☁️ Python, Django, AWS, Kubernetes, IoT You won’t be handed a backlog and told to code. You’ll work directly with machinists, ship quickly, get real-world feedback, and own systems end-to-end — with the goal of replicating autonomous factories nationwide. Why it’s compelling: → $12M seed backed by Khosla Ventures → 2-step interview process → Founding engineering team → Hardware + software + AI, solving a massive manufacturing problem If you’re the kind of engineer who wants to build the system, not just maintain it, this is one to look at.
