Senior Platform Engineer

Client Our client is an international product software company developing a globally used enterprise SaaS platform for organizations operating complex industrial environments. Its technology helps customers manage critical infrastructure, improve operational reliability, optimize maintenance activities and make data-driven decisions in highly regulated environments. The company is currently experiencing significant growth and investing heavily in cloud modernization, AI-enabled capabilities and engineering excellence. Position This is a strategic platform engineering role focused on building scalable cloud infrastructure, improving deployment automation and enabling engineering teams through modern DevOps practices. Rather than maintaining servers, you’ll help design and evolve the underlying platform that supports product development across the organization. You will also play a key role in exploring how AI-assisted tooling can automate and optimize infrastructure and operational workflows. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.Drive Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar technologies.Build, optimize, and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.Manage and improve Kubernetes-based environments.Create reusable platform components, templates, and automation frameworks..Develop self-service infrastructure solutions that enable engineering teams to provision and manage resources independently.Improve platform reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.Collaborate closely with software engineering, architecture, and security teams.Explore and implement AI-assisted automation across DevOps and platform workflows. AI-Assisted DevOps A key part of this role is helping define how AI can improve engineering productivity and reduce operational complexity. Generating Infrastructure as Code configurations.Automating CI/CD pipeline creation.AI-assisted troubleshooting and incident analysis.Log analysis and anomaly detection.Deployment automation and operational workflows.Evaluating tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, and similar solutions. Candidate 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE environments.Strong experience with Azure (or other major cloud platforms), Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies.Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.Strong background in CI/CD, deployment automation, platform reliability, observability, networking, and security.Experience building scalable cloud platforms, self-service infrastructure, and developer enablement solutions.Interest in AI-assisted engineering, operational automation, and modern developer productivity tools.Experience with Platform Engineering, Internal Developer Platforms, MLOps, AI infrastructure, data platforms, or FinOps is considered a strong advantage.
