As a Senior Consultant Engineer, you will be joining Technology Personal Everyday Banking team that’s doubling down on customer obsession. Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: Design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software solutions.Leading, Coaching & mentoring of team to uplift skills and knowledge to perform their roleExecute & drive hands-on design, software development, implementation of the origination of banking services.Ensure best practice CI/CD across the team.Maintain an understanding of 'Best practice’ initiatives within own specialist area, and IT in general by continually seeking out relevant industry and technical knowledge. Improve on professional skills by completing necessary development activitiesEnsure systems are backed up, patched, and maintained to enterprise standards. We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: 10+ years Technology experience10+ years in application development and / or support roles using languages such as Java/nodejs/reactjsStrong Experience in modern frameworks like Spring boot, Spring data, Eventing, multi threading, memory optimisation, UX.Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tunning and managementCI/CD tools such as Harness, Ansible, TerraformFamiliarity with Workflow, State machines.Familiarity with AI tools A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone We know that our people make us who we are.
