Automation Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Develop PLC code from specifications, including onsite commissioning and I/O testing • Ensure compliance with functional safety and industry standards • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, meeting aggressive deadlines • Liaise with project management, engineering teams, and end-users on technical matters • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder relationship building • Adhere to all health and safety policies and promote company values What You'll Need • Solid experience in automation and a strong technical background • Proficient in Rockwell RS Logix 5, 500 & 5000, and Studio 5000 • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and preferably PowerPoint and Visio • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including some weekends and nights • Relevant engineering qualification and a valid driving license What's On Offer • Competitive annual salary (£47,600 – £61,000) plus bonus potential. • Opportunity to work on diverse projects for a global leader • Comprehensive benefits including health and wellness programs and retirement plans • A dynamic work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth Apply via Haystack today!
