Senior Software Developer – Guildford | Full-Time Office-Based We’re looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team in Guildford, working on challenging and innovative projects across software development, signal processing, image processing and secure systems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work independently on your own projects while also supporting, mentoring and leading junior developers. What we’re looking for 3+ years’ professional software development experienceA strong academic background, ideally with a 1st or 2:1 degree (or PhD) in a numerate disciplineStrong academic results, including A-level Maths and PhysicsExperience developing and maintaining complex, real-world software systemsStrong understanding of clear, efficient software designGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Linux systems, including configuration and administrationExperience with some of the following:C/C++Python and/or MATLABHTML/JavaScript and GUI developmentGit and/or Subversion What you’ll be working on You’ll have the opportunity to work on technically interesting projects including: Developing novel signal and image processing applicationsDeveloping secure Cross Domain SolutionsBuilding user interfaces using Java or HTML/JavaScriptSupporting and training customers in the use of our softwareMentoring and leading other developers Security clearance requirement This role requires candidates to undergo UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
