Senior Java and Go DevOps Engineer

This role requires a senior software engineer specializing in Go and Java development to design build and secure enterprise level applications and platforms The consultant will be a key figure in enhancing software supply chain security and driving the adoption of secure development practices across the software development lifecycle SDLC Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain enterprise grade software solutions using Go and JavaBuild scalable and secure applications based on cloud native architecturesLead code reviews and contribute to system design and technical strategyEvaluate and integrate opensource technologiesSoftware Supply Chain SecurityImplement and manage security controls for software dependencies build systems and deployment processes that drives the adoption of Software Bill of Materials SBOM dependency management and artifact integrity controlsCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to build solutions that mitigate vulnerabilities in opensource componentsDevSecOps CICDDesign and optimize CICD pipelines integrating automated security testing eg code scanning dependency analysisDevelop automation to support continuous integration testing and secure deploymentsPromote InfrastructureasCode IaC best practicesSecure Development Lifecycle SDLChampion and embed SDL practices throughout the organizationConduct threat modeling security design reviews and support the remediation of security findings Required Skills Experience Hands on years in enterprise software engineeringCore Programming Strong handson proficiency in Go Golang and JavaArchitecture Deep understanding of distributed systems microservices APIs and software design patternsCICD Extensive experience implementing and managing CICD pipelines eg GitHub Actions GitLab JenkinsSecurityStrong knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle SDL practices and secure codingUnderstanding of software supply chain security concepts SBOMs dependency management vulnerability managementPreferred Experience with Software Composition Analysis SCA tools and implementing DevSecOpsPreferred Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and policyascode Technologies Containerization Docker and KubernetesCloud Platforms Familiarity with AWS Azure or Google CloudCertifications Preferred but not required CSSLP CISSP Security Education A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience a related technical field is required
