AWS DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an AWS DevOps for a challenging project in Lisbon. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.Manage AWS security, including access control, encryption, security best practices, and infrastructure hardening.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Implement and maintain secure database environments, including Amazon RDS and PostgreSQL.Design and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.Perform patching, hardening, and security management of Windows Server and Linux environments.Design and maintain cloud networking solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, DNS security, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.Apply AI-based tools and approaches to support and improve Cloud Operations activities. Requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in AWS Infrastructure and Cloud Operations.Strong experience with AWS security and cloud security best practices.Strong experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD using GitLab Pipelines.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.Good experience with Docker and containerized environments.Experience with RDS/PostgreSQL security, encryption, access control, and backup strategies.Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration, including patching and hardening.Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPN, Direct Connect, DNS, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.Good understanding of security principles across cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and databases.Ability to leverage AI tools in Cloud Operations and infrastructure-related activities.Fluency in English (mandatory) If you’re interested in this job please send your CV in English to marta.fonseca@decskill.com with reference “MF/AWS”.
