IT Platform Engineer

You will become part of the Enterprise Data Lake team, where you'll help build and improve the bank's cloud-based data platform using modern engineering practices and Azure technologies. What you'll do As an IT Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the Enterprise Data Lake platform. Working closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and security specialists, you'll contribute to delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities include: Developing robust cloud-native software solutionsBuilding and maintaining scalable Azure-based data platformsApplying software engineering best practices (SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design)Implementing Infrastructure as Code and DevOps methodologiesDeveloping and improving CI/CD pipelinesEnsuring software quality through automated testingCollaborating with cross-functional stakeholdersContributing to continuous improvement and mentoring team members where needed What we're looking for We're looking for an engineer who enjoys building reliable software and has experience throughout the complete software development lifecycle. Required experience Strong experience with object-oriented programming (Python preferred)Experience developing cloud-based applications (Azure preferred)Experience with Databricks and cloud SDKsExperience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code solutionsSolid understanding of DevOps and CI/CDExperience applying SOLID principles and software design patternsExperience with automated testing (Pytest is a plus)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsOwnership mentality and a proactive attitudeNice to have Experience with Unity CatalogExperience working within enterprise-scale data platformsFinancial sector experience is considered an advantage Why join?
