Associate Frontend Engineer

This client is moving away from a collection of complex spreadsheets and needs a custom dashboard to manage their fleet and delivery schedules. You will work alongside our senior developers to build out the interfaces that their dispatchers and warehouse teams will use every day. As a fully remote role, you will be part of a distributed team that focuses on building practical, reliable software. The Role In this role, you will spend your time building the parts of the software that users actually interact with. This is not about high-concept animation, but about making sure a warehouse manager can find the right order quickly or that a driver can see their next stop clearly on a screen. You will translate designs into functional React components, connect those components to backend APIs, and help us refactor older code to make it more maintainable. Because we are a remote team, you will also spend time documenting how your code works and recording short walkthrough videos for our clients. The work is permanent and full-time, focusing on steady progress and stable releases. What you bring A solid grasp of the building blocks of the web: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. An organized approach to your work and a preference for clean, functional user interfaces. The ability to write code that is easy for another person to read and understand. A willingness to work on internal tools and admin systems that solve real business problems. Strong written communication skills for documentation and remote collaboration. A reliable work ethic and the ability to manage your own time in a remote setting. A basic understanding of how to take a design mockup and turn it into working code. Helpful background Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks from personal projects or studies. Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborating on code. A basic understanding of how to connect a frontend to a backend API. Exposure to Node.js or basic database concepts. Interest in learning how to build software that remains stable and easy to maintain over several years.
