We are seeking a Senior Developer (Power Platform) to provide post-go-live support for a customer's Power Platform estate.
This role will operate on a best-efforts time-and-materials basis, delivering L2/L3 support across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic advisory capabilities, helping stabilise the production environment while documenting support patterns, identifying recurring issues, and scoping requirements for a future Application Managed Services (AMS) engagement.
What You’ll Do
Production Support
Provide L2/L3 support for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, flow failures, app errors, and permission issues.Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement fixes or workarounds.User Support
Respond to end-user queries on app functionality, access, and platform usage.Assist citizen developers with troubleshooting and best-practice guidance.Maintain and enhance support documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.AMS Scoping
Document support patterns and common issues to inform AMS scope.Identify gaps in monitoring, alerting, and operational processes.Recommend target support model: SLAs, escalation paths, tooling, and resourcing.
What we’re looking for
7+ years in application support or development roles, with 5+ years hands-on experience supporting production Power Platform solutions.Deep practical knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform AdministrationExperience with Power Pages and Copilot Studio.Experience with REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns (e.g., HTTP connectors, custom connectors, Azure Logic Apps or Functions as needed).Proven track record in L2/L3 application support, incident management, and SLA-driven environments.Strong troubleshooting methodology: log analysis, flow run history inspection, test plan execution, and systematic isolation of issues.Experience producing technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles for support teams.Ability to liaise with Microsoft Support, escalate Premier/TAM cases, and track to resolution.Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues to non-technical users and stakeholders.Self-directed and able to work independently on T&M engagements with minimal supervision.Exposure to ticketing and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar.Prior involvement in AMS scoping, support model design, or service catalogue definition.Ability to produce effort estimates, service level definitions, and operational runbooks for proposal development.
