Digital Developer

Full-time, Permanent Basingstoke (Hybrid) £50,000 - £70,000 About the role We're looking for a talented and motivated IT Digital Developer to join our growing Digital team at Reassured. You'll play a key role in building and improving customer-facing digital experiences, helping to drive engagement and conversion across our online journeys. Working across a variety of projects, from enhancing our life insurance journey to delivering brand-new digital products, you'll combine strong front-end development skills with a passion for user experience. As part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll work closely with Developers, QA, Business Analysts, DevOps, CRM and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that make a real impact on the business. What you'll be doing Developing and maintaining modern front-end applications using Vue.js and TypeScriptBuilding customer-facing digital products and online journeys that drive engagement and conversionDelivering features end to end, from development and testing through to deploymentTranslating UI/UX designs into clean, scalable and maintainable codeBuilding and maintaining reusable component libraries and front-end architectureCollaborating with Developers, QA, Business Analysts, DevOps and CRM teams to deliver business prioritiesRunning and interpreting user experiments and A/B tests to improve customer outcomesSupporting code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD pipelinesIdentifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability and reduce technical debt What we're looking for 3+ years' experience in front-end developmentStrong commercial experience with Vue 3 and TypeScriptExperience building and maintaining reusable component librariesGood working knowledge of Tailwind CSS and Vite Experience using Storybook for component development and documentationStrong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityExperience using Git, including GitLab workflows, branching and pull requestsExperience contributing to automated testing and CI/CD pipelinesA passion for modern development practices and creating high-quality user experiences Nice to have Node.js development experienceNuxt or Next.jsGoogle Tag Manager and Google AnalyticsDocker in Linux or WSL environmentsAWS or Azure cloud servicesRedis session managementPHP 8+ and frameworks such as LaravelExperience running conversion optimisation experiments and A/B testingExposure to AI-assisted or agent-based development workflows Why join us?
