They’re looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to play a key role in shaping their engineering capability, architecture and technology direction. The Role As the Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Shaping and influencing the organisation’s technical vision and engineering strategyMentoring and developing senior engineers, helping raise technical capability across the teamDriving the adoption of AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices across the organisationLeading complex, cross‑functional initiatives and defining scalable software architecturesProviding technical mentorship, establishing best practices and championing engineering excellenceHands-on full-stack engineering, contributing across both front-end and back-end development while helping solve complex technical challenges.Collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutionsInfluencing hiring decisions and helping shape a high‑performance engineering culture What You'll Bring You must have this experience to be successful in the role: 10+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in technical leadershipExpert-level .NET expertise, with strong experience designing and building scalable applicationsStrong TypeScript and React.js experience, with a hands-on approach to full-stack developmentDeep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), SQL Server, Redis and observability tools (Datadog, LaunchDarkly)Proven track record delivering large‑scale, distributed systems and driving process improvementsStrong communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skillsHands‑on experience with AI‑assisted dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and LLM API integration
