System Analyst - Kubernetes / JIRA - 30k to 50k per month I am currently helping our Client seeking a System Analyst to join the team in Hong Kong. Your role Manage the daily operations, maintenance, and support of enterprise-scale systems, including both standalone and Kubernetes-based platforms.Administer and support Kubernetes environments, handling application deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.Review vendor deliverables such as technical documentation, source code, test evidence, and deployment materials to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, security standards, and internal guidelines.Collaborate with business users, vendors, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents, implement system changes, and facilitate production releases.Implement and improve Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response, to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive measures.Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting, standardization, and workflow automation to enhance efficiency and consistency.Maintain comprehensive operational documentation such as runbooks, support procedures, incident reports, and knowledge base articles.Provide after-hours support during production releases, scheduled maintenance, or incident resolution as needed; compensation leave will be provided.Should have Minimum of 3 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in system development, application deployment, or enterprise system support.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including application deployment, configuration management, troubleshooting, and incident resolution; administrative expertise with Kubernetes is a plus.Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and related deployment artifacts.Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects and resolve issues efficiently.Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.Strong understanding of modern application architectures, including RESTful APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), and microservices.Proficient scripting skills in Bash and Python.A strong automation mindset, capable of transforming manual operations into automated workflows.Experience with Ansible Playbooks for deployment, automation, and configuration is highly desirable.Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability tools is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills.Please reach out to German Cham at german.cham@connectedgroup.com for more information.
