Senior Developer - Marketing and Commercial Systems

Job description: Job Description Software Development Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and backend services using .NET Framework and .NET Core. Build and maintain responsive user interface components using JavaScript and React.js. Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and contribute to microservices-based solutions. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code in line with engineering standards. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, estimation, and peer collaboration. Application Support & Maintenance Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across web applications and APIs. Support legacy .NET Framework applications while contributing to modernization initiatives using .NET Core and React.js. Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes for recurring issues. Support production releases and assist with post-release validation when required. Database & Integration Use SQL for basic data querying, validation, and troubleshooting. Integrate applications with internal and external services through APIs and service-based integrations. Work with JSON payloads and understand data flow between frontend, backend, databases, and external services. Engineering Practices Use Git for source control and follow team branching, pull request, and code review practices. Work within CI/CD processes and support build, test, and deployment activities. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, Product, and Business teams to deliver reliable solutions. Follow secure coding, performance, reliability, and maintainability best practices. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams and enterprise application environments Job Requirements - Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline 2-3 years of professional software development experience Core Technical Skills Good hands-on knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core / modern .NET. Good knowledge of JavaScript and React.js for frontend development. Basic knowledge of SQL, including writing queries for data validation and troubleshooting. Good understanding of microservices concepts and service-based application architecture. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON. Good troubleshooting and debugging skills across frontend and backend applications. Familiarity with Git and standard software development lifecycle practices. Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Strong logical reasoning and ability to identify root causes of technical issues. Ability to analyze requirements, propose practical solutions, and implement them effectively. Attention to code quality, maintainability, and reliability.
