Job Overview
As a DotNet Developer you will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications and components.
You will be supporting and/or installing software applications and components and working from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintain documentation of process flow.
Roles and Responsibilities
Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, RDBMS Databases (eg SQL Server, MySql, Postgres), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Razor View cshtml, REST API, OAuth and C#Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.Prepare test based applications for various .Net applications.Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an actionPlan and identifying areas for modification and improvementManage defect tracking systems and resolve all issues and prepare updates for systems.Investigate and develop skills in new technologiesCreate technical specifications and test plansMonitor everyday activities of the system and provide required support.Analyze Application and Database Architecture based on user requirements.Demonstrate the ability to use AI tools to understand, analyze, and think through problems and solutions before relying on AI to generate code.
Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject2+ years full-time work experience in .NET technologies and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Razor View cshtml, Entity Framework Core, REST API, OAuth, and RDBMS Databases (eg.
SQL Server, MySql, Postgres) in an n-tier architecture.Strong background in object oriented development techniquesSolution Design Patterns and Best PracticesDatabase design and development (Microsoft SQL Server, MySql, Postgres)Experience with concurrent development source control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins)Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.Ability to articulate how AI tools are used for problem analysis and solution design, not just code generationPassion for technology and knowledgeExperience in Docker and Microservice Architecture is a plus
