For this recruiting round, we are specifically prioritizing candidates who combine senior Java/Spring Boot development experience with substantial hands-on Angular development on applications governed by ADA and/or WCAG accessibility requirements. Please apply only if you are a software developer with significant professional Angular experience. Accessibility testing/QA experience by itself is not sufficient for these positions. Location: Harriman State Office Campus, Albany, NY Work arrangement: Onsite from Day 1 Duration: Approximately 30 months Compensation: $49–$50/hour W-2, depending on assignment Employment: W-2 only; no C2C What we are specifically looking forThe strongest candidates will have: At least 5 years of professional Software Developer experienceAt least 5 years of Java/J2EE and/or Spring Boot developmentApproximately 4+ years of Angular developmentApproximately 4+ years personally developing Angular applications required to meet ADA and/or WCAG accessibility standardsExperience building reusable Angular UI componentsAt least 4 years of REST and/or SOAP services, backend services, batch jobs, and application integrationsStrong SQL experience plus Hibernate, JPA, DB2, or comparable persistence/data-access technologiesGitHub and/or GitLab with CI/CD pipelinesExperience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or another enterprise cloud platformExperience documenting application architecture/design, system functionality, enhancement roadmaps, and/or technical debt Important distinction regarding accessibility experienceFor this search, we are specifically looking for developers who personally implemented accessible applications, not candidates whose experience is limited primarily to accessibility testing.
