Description

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer / Technical Architect to join our Salesforce Practice. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading the technical architecture and aiding in application development on the Salesforce platform. Since much of the work of this role is client-facing, the ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and clients while building consensus is critical for success. Candidate should be a driven individual with excellent communication skills who takes the ownership of their tasks to see them through completion. The candidate should be a team player willing to work in a high-paced environment. Daily Responsibilities: Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments and tools.Solutioning, Designing and developing business application functionality.Perform fit-gap analysis mapping business requirements to Salesforce best practices, capabilities, features.Declarative solutioning using Salesforce cloud offering (Service, Sales, and Community)/ AppExchange.Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform.Support application solution by working with the Development Team.Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.Design and development of API integrations with external business systems.Assess all risks and offer mitigation strategies, communicating impacts to project across multiple channels.Being able to work independently with minimal supervision. Required Skills and Experience: BS/BA in a related field (Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred)Understanding of and experience with Agile development methodologiesMinimum of seven (7) years of Salesforce implementation experience, including at least 2 years as lead developer/architect on enterprise-scale Salesforce projectsActive Salesforce Administrator certification and Salesforce Developer certificationExperience developing Web Service (i.e., JSON and XML) between Salesforce Org and third-party applicationsStrong knowledge of Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements.Deep expertise in platform architecture, governor limits, system design, and refactoring for scalability/performanceSolutioning Custom Objects, Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, Email Alerts and communication templatesDemonstrated experience developing integration architectures involving MuleSoft, Salesforce Events, Canvas, or other middlewareExperience leading technical solutioning sessions and producing architecture diagrams and technical design documentsStrong knowledge and experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio CodeProven ability to guide development teams on front-end and back-end scalable and secure coding practices, accessible development (i.e., 508 compliance), data governance, and platform constraintsStrong Verbal and Written Communication Skills Desired Skills and Experience: Proficient knowledge of version control systems (i.e., Git, Bitbucket)Experience using JIRA or Agile AcceleratorExperience supporting Salesforce in regulated or Federal environments, including compliance with FedRAMP or FISMAExperience with Salesforce DX and scratch orgs in multi-org environmentsFamiliarity with broader enterprise architecture patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, microservices)Demonstrated success mentoring junior developers and leading technical communities of practice Work Authorization/Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Federal Government background investigation.
