Description

Maltem Asia is seeking Cloud Engineer for a Client based in Bangkok, Thailand. Role: Cloud Engineer Requirement: Implementing cloud-based systems and services according to design specifications provided by the Cloud Architect.Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure reliable and automated cloud environment provisioning.Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-based systems to ensure they are secure and reliable.Participating in incident management and problem management for root cause analysis, as well as handling change requests.Collaborating with Cloud Architecture on system design.Following and participating in the definition of Accor's technical standards.Implementing solutions to automate the deployment of system components.Collaborating with other teams and departments to identify and resolve cloud-related problems and optimize cloud performance.Working with the FinOps team to implement cost optimization strategies.Managing and maintaining cloud-related documentation, including system details, implementation steps, and necessary support operations.Engages actively in all Scrum and SAFe ceremonies to facilitate communication and prioritize work for continuous integration/deliveryEnsures that all development and operations activities are aligned with delivering tangible value to the end-userContinuously researching and staying up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in cloud computing. Must have:: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum 4+ years of experience on AWSAWS Certified SysOps administrator, or similar certifications are a plus.Experience with Agile frameworkStrong hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps principles.Strong experience in cloud infrastructure management and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of cloud security and data management best practices.Experience with CI/CD pipeline and tooling Terraform for 2+ years; Gitlab-CI; Containers (ECS, Fargate, K8S, EKS).Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality workEffective communication skills
