The Role Senior Web Developer (PHP / ProcessWire) — full-time, hybrid, Greater Hartford Area (CT) You'll architect, build, and maintain the websites and web apps our clients depend on. That means owning back-end functionality, wiring up databases and APIs, and making sure everything runs fast, secure, and scales when it needs to. You'll also touch front-end layouts, hunt down bugs, clean up legacy code, and sit in on code reviews. Bonus: you'll work directly with stakeholders to turn "here's what we need" into real technical solutions, and help the rest of the team level up along the way. What You Bring Seriously strong back-end chops: PHP, databases, server-side frameworks, (ProcessWire experience preferred)Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive designReal experience building, testing, and shipping web applicationsAn eye for usability and accessibility, not just "does it work"Comfort with Git and modern dev workflowsA handle on security, performance, and cross-browser headachesThe ability to break down a messy requirement and solve it, then explain howCommunication skills that work on-site with a small, tight-knit teamBachelor's in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent real-world experienceBonus points if you've worked with small business clients or in a service-driven IT shop
